Creatine while cutting?

Hi, I'm in my 2nd week with GW, SR, RAD, Osta, and S4. I've put on about 5 lbs, lost 2 inches in my waist, gained an inch in my biceps, thighs went up two inches, and the before/after photos just in this period are definitely noticeable. I haven't experienced any side effects and I'm feeling great. I know my body fat percentage has definitely dropped and I've padded a good deal of muscle in that 5 lbs differential.

Based on free dieting, my extreme fat loss (2lbs/week) daily caloric intake a working out 5 days/week (intense) is 1371. I'm probably consuming closer to 1500 and adding about an hour of cardio a day to bring that down. I'm pretty sure my Elliptical was lying to me and saying I was burning 600 calories in an hour but the treadmills at the gym and the calculators online indicate for my weight, age, height that I'm really burning something like 200 when my heart rate rate is around 120. Although, on the elliptical, I'm sure my heart rate is much higher. In any case, I'm making sure I stay close to that 1371 number.

I'll be posting a log soon.

To my question, I've been looking around and keep finding mixed information about the use of Creatine while cutting. The jury seems to be out but it looks like its based maybe on goals. My goals are to drop the water weight, fat, and cut up something fierce in the next 120 days. Any thoughts about whether I should continue to supplement with Creatine during this period?

Thanks!

you can use creatine while cutting but i wouldn't advise using monohydrate if your cutting... you need to pick one that holds the least amount of water, like nitrate for example...

you should be good to go with hcl... it does not cause water retention or bloating... Creatine HCL works so well because adding the hydrochloride group to the creatine molucule lowers the pH of the creatine, making it more acidic. This drastically increases its solubility in fluids. You will notice this when you mix creatine HCL in water. It mixes almost instantly with no sedimentation so that no particles are sitting in the bottom of the glass. Any ingredients that have precipitated to the bottom of a cup are ingredients that will sit in your intestines and not be absorbed properly. This will also cause water to be pulled into the intestines, causing stomach discomfort and diarrhea. Creatine HCL has been shown in the lab to be about 40 times more soluble in fluid than creatine monohydrate. And research shows that when subjects consume the same amount of creatine HCL and creatine monohydrate, the creatine HCL is absorbed by the intestines by about 60% better than creatine monohydrate. This mean that you can take a much smaller dose of creatine HCL to get similar results as creatine monohydrate. And with greater solubility in fluid, greater absorption by the intestines, and with a much smaller dose, you significantly reduce the chance of stomach issues and subcutaneous water retention. Plus, you increase the benefits it imparts.

How about micronized mono still as much water retention?
Good question btw

I'm on HCL and it's fine, just make sure you buy from a company that holds the patten #
Con-Cret is what I used, they came up with the patent if I'm not mistaken..Kagged muscle is another one..

It’s important to make sure the Creatine HCl you buy is the REAL DEAL. If you are buying Creatine HCl as a single ingredient (unflavored & flavored powder or capsules), on the label it will say Patented C-HCl, Vireo Systems Inc. and include PATENT #8, 962, 685/#8, 354, 450/#8, 026, 385/#7, 608, 641.
