Bloated penis, painful nightly erections

So for a long time now, I've had a "bloated" or swollen penis. It is bigger than it used to be years ago, and I often have painful, excessive erections at night. Sometimes they are so bad, they can last for hours, and I have to wake up to put an ice pack on my crotch. This has been going on, on/off, for years now. Recently I tested my estrogen level at 50, which is a bit on the high end, and I'm wondering, can a high estrogen cause that type of swelling of one's member? I'm not on steroids, but took some pro-hormones and other supplements years ago - not sure if this is directly related to that.

The doc says this isn't typical "priapism" as then I would have gotten damage to my penis, and inability to have an erection. I really think it is from an imbalance in some hormones.

Anyone has experienced this type of thing, when their estrogen was high?

I would actually prefer to have no sex drive and no erections, compared to having these swollen, painful, long-lasting erections.

You got estrogen levels checked what about testosterone? If you are serious about rather having zero libido at all then you can talk to your doctor about taking an anti-androgen drugs. You could also simply ask for opiates to reduce the pain which FYI opiates also lower testosterone levels and may give you some pain relief.

When I was a teen and my natural test was raging I got skin busting erections all the time. If I didn't have a girl around my hand usually did the trick.

I've been to several doctors about this issue, including a urologist. Even had an ultrasound of my junk, nothing to be found.

Testosterone I've had checked pretty frequently, and it's always around 500 (my labs range goes from 350-1000). I doubt it's testosterone that's the issue.

My point is not to have zero libido. My point was just that I would rather have zero libido than have a bloated penis.

I can manage the pain without painkillers. Also keep in mind that it is not every night that I have the erections to the point of pain.

What are peoples experiences with Aromatase Inhibitors (AIs). Do they reduce erections and penis size at all?
 
I've had this before. Erections so hard that my penis was actually extremely sore. Only happened when I was running my hcg though, it stopped after that.
 
Dude painful erections are the single defining symptom that something is NOT right and emergency treatment is necessary. And you need to keep hunting around for a decent URO who can address this issue.

Sounds like something is torn or ruptured. An extended period over 4 hours with an erection is doing damage from trapped blood, and pain and swelling is the very first issue/symptom.

Whenever that happens people are urged to go to the emergency room stat so they can get an erection killing medication to prevent the damage.
 
Have to agree with these guys bud. You need to keep looking around for a good doctor to help work with you on this. Theres nothing us forum guys can really do for you. Medical attention is needed.

Can someone please comment on estrogen's effects on erection and penis size? I know many people here have experience with using Aromatase inhibitors, or with using steroids, so perhaps someone is familiar as to how "high estrogen" or "low estrogen" affects one's member.

To everyone saying "see a doctor": I have seen dozens of doctors on this issue. A bodybuilding forum is not exactly the first place I would ask for help on this issue. But since my estrogen came back slightly elevated ('nothing to be concerned about' according to my endocrinologist), I am just trying to make the link between this issue and hormone imbalance.

Bro you are fishing here. If your estrgoen levels are in check, then why even mention aromatose inhibitors? That makes no sense. It has nothing to do with penis size either, unless you crush your estrogen so much that you can't get an erection.....which I would highly advise against. Stay away from AIs and talk to doctors. We can't help you
 
Surely that'd show on a scan though, which he says nothing was a-doin'.

There is zero correlation between Estrogen and Erection in the way you have theorized. If Estrogen is out of balance severely, you'll simply get no erection from having no sex drive.
