I heard that taking b6 in a high dose can help combat prolactin issue is that true? and what it is the recommended dosage to combat prolactin ? and is it better to take the oral version or the injectable version of b6 ?

The words 'I heard" are often the beginning of the end. Vitamin B6 supposedly taken at 400-600 (that's a big 200mg gap huh?) for like 8 weeks supposedly saw reduced prolactin IN WOMEN when taken spread throughout the day during a study done by the University of Michigan. B vitamins are water soluble and will end up pissed away and would be difficult to maintain any kind of stable levels any way. So this bro-science should die right here. Even if it were effective the average man/woman in their day to day activities cannot maintain/measure an effective means of supplementation of B6 to combat anything. I can't quote anything to support what I'm saying, but think about the dynamics of it. Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to combat prolactin with proven means (cabergoline/ pramipexole) instead of getting constant labs and dosing B6 at all kinds of hours to maintain steady levels?

do you read a lot? if so you will see and understand that you will "hear claims" of things on EVERYTHING... do you realize how many vitamins, supplements etc. have the "chance" to do something... studies can be skewed however the person doing the study wants it to be... plain and simple... please do not think that b6 is going to do anything with combatting prolactin... it might be a nice little aide for caber or prami but if you really, truly believe it could be used to combat prolactin on its own, you will end up learning a very hard lesson...

Here's my experience. And i have allot in this area with my tren and b6 b6 at 300mg WILL lower prolactin. It's NOT too be used in place of caber, etc.
For instance, I've ran out of caber or had bunk caber And have used what's called "poor man prami" the b6.

It works. But not without potential issues. Specifically nerve issues. Last resort help? Yes. Main countermeasure? NO

THESE GAINZ SPONSORED BY ROBOLICS

Great post Robo. Agreed on all that.

High dose (anything over 200mg) B6 can cause neuropathy. Not good.

It only enhances the effect of L-DOPA in the brain which already balances Dopamine with Prolactin as a pre-cursor. It is certainly not wise to try to do this with an antagonist steroid fighting to RAISE Prolactin, when B6 only enhances what is already there on the other side, not intimately increasing it by force or direct action.
