Is there any point in trying to agree on everything before actually filing for divorce?

We've already talked about the possibility of divorce, but nothing specific yet. It just feels like we've reached that point of no return where solving things without divorce isn't really being discussed anymore. But we haven't filed anything yet. I'm wondering if it's worth discussing property issu
In my experience, it's always better to discuss everything in advance. The issue isn't even the property, kids, or anything like that. Even an amicable divorce is stressful. While emotions haven't boiled over yet, you can talk everything through calmly. Later on, even small things can suddenly turn into conflicts.
 
In my experience, it's important to discuss absolutely everything in advance. Divorce involves two people, not just your personal decision. You lived with this person, you were married to them, so talk about what you're both going to do moving forward. These days you can prepare documents in a few minutes through services like yourforms divorce, so that's not really the problem. Finding a lawyer is also quick if you actually need one. It's much more important to make sure the two of you don't end up creating conflicts or reasons for conflicts.
