Pay attention to detail

Bros just a reminder to pay attention to details when pinning..today I drew a cc into my syringe and noticed a tiny black dot floating around. Upon inspecting the vial I noticed several black prices of debris..this was rubber from the stopper that had broken off from repeating sticks from the needle from drawing fluid. Common problem However if u don't pay attention to the little things you'll inject that crap right into your muscle causing abscess. I saved my ass because I always pay close attention. It's always the little things that'll get ya ..had to discard the rest of that vial too losing bout 3 cc's of gear but can't afford to risk safety. Especially if you don't have sterile micron filters and spare vials to clean it out. Easier to lose $20 bucks than spend thousands at the dr

Good reminder! I noticed the same thing last night while I was pinning. I got a seperate syringe and very carefully sucked out the two small rubber pieces floating around before loading a new syringe with gear.

This is the reason I don't ever recommend guys draw with the bigger gauges. They can and will take chunks out of the stopper pretty often. I draw with a 22 and have never had that happen. A few more seconds to draw the oil is no big deal

Yeah.. That's a good point. I typically use an 18 gauge, but usually don't poke the same area over and over again.

Injecting a piece of rubber in your quad could hurt quite a bit

Ya always a good thing. I know a guy that had a hair in his vial.

Also Its just a big thing in general. Idk how many times I have picked up the wrong dropper bottle and dosed something incorrectly. Happens with cialis and aromasin and all that stuff to me allllll the time. I did it with prami once and wanted t kill myself.

geez dude good thing you caught it, and thanks for the heads up

I've always used a 23g to draw and have yet to have that problem.

Very nice reminder for us all.

This happened to me a bunch of times. I try not to pin in the same area of the rubber now. Seems to help. Plus I only use 10ml vials now. My last source was all 20mils and about 3/4 of tge way through there were always chunks

Ya man, I've done that before with vials and ancillaries. Or forget if I actually dosed something or not and second guess myself lol

I was just talking to a friend about this same subject today.
So do you believe the needle gets dull after the drawl?

Absolutely.
To the degree that some people claim, no. I can tell a slight difference. I always use a separate needle from now on. Draw with a 23g and pin with a 25g. The sharper the needle, the less micro trauma, the less pip.
