T4 Supplementation (along with T3)

Ok, I'm having a difficult time understanding what the addition of T4 supplementation might do for me. I'm currently running a long cycle of T3 and considering adding in some T4 as a sort of self-experiment.

My question is, will the T4 do anything that the T3 wouldn't? Won't the T4 just convert to T3, ultimately acting just like a greater dose of T3 in practice? Any other ideas on how to amp up T3 effectivity without using DNP?

Why in the world you "run a cycle" of T3 ???
It horrible shit that is highly catabolic....
Also it can mess up your natural thyroid function
It's beyond stupid
Please don't tell me it's for weight reduction!!!
If it is you are a lazy ass looking for a short cut to proper diet and cardio
I promise you'll be sorry...it won't do what you want and you'll be left in worse co diction than when you started

I have checked my thyroid function after being off T3 for only two days and it was 100% back to normal so, that's not necessarily true. To answer the other question, I'm running it because I'm on a long cycle of Deca and I tend to accumulate fat on Deca.

Then....You are running Deca improperly and your diet and training need adjustment...NOT YOUR THYROID !!!

The fact that you been on T3 for a fair bit of time already and you are looking to "enhance" it... proves my point that it doesn't do what you think/want it to

Old dude is getting cranky! Can anyone explain what the addition of T4 does to help a thyroid that is already being supplemented with T3?

Lol... Cranky or not, he's 100% right. Plenty of others will jump in soon including Dylan and you won't hear what you want. I bought 3 bottles of T3 but after more research, I tossed them.

I just ran 9 weeks of NPP and gained some unwanted fat due to all the calories I had to consume and I just have a body type that likes to store fat. I use albuterol, caffeine and dandelion (diuretic) to help burn fat because I have a desk job.

Research CLA and calcium pyruvate. They do a good job at burning fat and they're natural. GW-50156 is also in my cycle for its fat burning and non muscle wasting capabilites.

Thank you, UNGH! I have GW in the cycle already. Other than that, you gave me a bunch of stuff to look into!

As far as your 9 weeks of NPP, what do you mean by "all the calories (you) HAD TO consume?" Do you mean that you wanted a massive excess to get the most out of the NPP or did it mess with your appetite?

Still wondering why people run T4 on top of T3.

Correct. Research and counsel on the forums dictated a huge surplus of calories etc. to see the gains I was after. Unfortunately, it was very challenging for me to get that much down each day so I switched to tren for another 8 weeks or until i run out.

My appetite on tren is much better and it's such a potent compound, I don't need as many calories since I'm focusing more on recomp.I've also added var and proviron to help finish off this cycle.

As for your question, I don't see any reason to add T4 when taking T3. T4 converts to T3 in the liver so why add something that needs to convert when you already have the proper dose of T3?

If you're going to run T3, I believe running GW and test with it will help stave off the muscle wasting but again, I'm not going to fuck with my thyroid for a quick fix that will most likely cause more issues down the road. Fat has memory just like muscle. Master your diet, sweat your ass off and you'll get the longer lasting results you're looking for.

Ok, UNGH. That corroborates my assumptions, re: the eventual redundancy of T3 + T4. And, yes, the cycle is Test/Deca/Winstrol along with GW/MK677 and some T3.

If anyone else has taken T4 and wants to make the case for synergistic effects with T3, I'd love to hear it.

Just to add to the thought here, check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2oLsPvQZ6c

In this video, dude explains possible causes of malfunction in the conversion from T4 to T3. One major reason for low functioning thyroid, he explains, is elevated testosterone. High testosterone levels prevent T4 from converting to T3. For this reason, it makes sense for anyone supplementing their testosterone to maintain normal thyroid function with T3. I could see using T4 as a good way of breaking from exogenous T3 while off-cycle. I suppose, if you can afford to do without normal TSH levels while on cycle (meaning, you are naturally lean all the time), you can just disregard the entire subject. I'm not so lucky, so I need to keep that thyroid going.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and as I said in a previous post, my body has always held stubborn fat and I hate it.

I've made great strides though in the kitchen, gym and gear. My Achilles heel is beer! I'm ok with having a sexy dad bod though. [emoji123] [emoji2]

Looking great for your body type, bud! We have remarkably similar challenges so, I'm sure you can see why I always try to enhance the effects of kitchen/gym/gear to err on the side of leanness!
