Body fat test

I want to get this done as I'm very curious as to where I'm at, will probably wait until done cycle of LGD which will be Mid September, I've seen there are a few ways, but what is the most reliable that is fairly easy without possibly jumping through hoops to get it done?

Probably a Dexa Scan will provide the most accurate reading for the cost. Personally, I've never had one done basically because I'm lazy when it comes to knowing my body fat. I use fat calipers, but they are not 100% accurate.

Dexa Scan... nothing else compares, they are so detailed and specific. I get one every 3rd week of the month because I'm a paranoid, overly self conscious bastard, but yeah... Dexa is the way to go.

Googled dexa scan says for bone density???

DEXA stands for 'dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry'. DEXA (also sometimes known as DXA) is a test that measures the density of bones. Density means how much of something there is in a certain amount of space. The denser the tissue, the less X-rays pass through. Air and water are less dense than solid things such as bone. This is because the particles which make air and water are not held closely together. In general, the more dense the bone, the stronger it is, and the less likely it is to break (fracture).

There are two different types of DEXA scanning devices:
•Central DEXA devices are large machines that can measure bone density in the centre of your skeleton, such as your hip and spine.
•Peripheral DEXA devices are smaller, portable machines that are used to measure bone density on the periphery of your skeleton, such as your wrist, heel or finger. These are mainly to get an idea about whether further tests are needed

hydro test is the most accurate, most expensive and mostly the more elusive. i have tried to find a tank all over north florida and still have yet to find one. i think they navy does them but not for just anyone who wants to have it done.

I think an aquarium is what you need man, that way you can try out your Johnny Quest snorkel and swim fins

Maybe Something on the easier and cheap end, doesn't need to be perfect, No scuba gear required preferably lol.

then i would order some calipers from amazon, not the digitals i think they are a little less accurate. but the calipers should get you within 1-3% range +or-

i can tell you i had an inbody scan and a buddy that did a caliper test right before and it was pretty damn close like .5%

Omron makes a nice electronic scale, uses hands and feet. Its not super accurate, but its close, and gives you a reference to start from.

Omron's will let you know wether you gain or lose BF if you take the reading once a week at the same time of day with with the same or no clothes with the EXACT hydration level in your body..getting the EXACT hydration level every time is almost impossible

Thanks everyone, I ordered that one I linked, as long as I'm within a few percent I'd be satisfied. As of right now I couldn't tell you if I was 15 or 25 no idea. so within a few percent for me would even be good for now.
