Sounds like it could be gallbladder. See a doc if it isn't better in the AM.
Pain in upper left ab is likely a stomach / colon issue. (I am no doctor btw but went through a lot of GI issues). Dull persistent pain in that region could be caused by excessive stomach acid and esophagus reflux. If it were me - depending on the severity of the symptoms - I'd run a two week stint of Prilosec and make sure you are avoiding all acidic food and juice (including OJ, soda, chocolate, tomato sauce, alcohol and coffee for a few days as well. If it persists or gets worse - or if you have other symptoms like blood in the stool or vomiting go to the doc and make sure you go to a GI doc not a General Practitioner

You never actually know if it's something serious until you get it checked out. Just make a quick appt with your GP and get it looked at. Better safe than sorry.

Yeah you're probably right.
And if you don't have medical insurance just visit the urgent care center, the one around the corner from me is only $80 a visit so their prices are affordable. Health is priceless
Yeah, doctor for sure if you've been experiencing this for a week.
From someone who has recently had stomach surgery, that sound like the same place I hurt in, but that is simply a guess.
Get on in and get checked out.
U might just need to take a good shit
