LOL...safe and the 4th....huh...don't get the connection......

After I had a 4 foot mortar fall over and blow a 3 foot hole in my neighbors siding , I stick to black cats!!

I hear ya. I had my wife at a fireworks show years back and we were sitting on a blanket on the side of a hill. One of the big mortars went off and didn't blow up as planned and actually started coming back down right over the top of where we were sitting. It went off about 100 ft above us. I could feel the heat of the explosion and some of the sparks hit us. Talk about a close call.

Yeah, I don't have anything nearly that big. But I do have some of those shorter motors that will still light up the sky. Hopefully no one's roof though.
