A bit off point but I need to vent.

A forum member recently started a thread in an effort to help a young man with Duchenne dystrophy. Ho asked about SARMS and several of us chimed in. For those who don't know about Duchenne it is a shitty disease. Typically in wheelchair by teens and dead in the 20's-30's.

Anyway a new drug was just approved to help and look what the suck ass pharmaceutical company has done!!

I see this shit every day. I love what I do but I hate some of the people I need to work with such as big pharma

That's why I kinda worry about the Idea of legalizing anabolic big pharma would shut down the underground and a begginer cycle would cost thousands

True. If I found a cure for diabetes, do you think I would be allowed to release it? The companies that manufacture insulin, test strips, glucose meters, lancets and etc...would probably get together, and get me an appointment to get a toe tag.
A cure, you only need once.....but without a cure, I can treat you for life....and you will pay for your entire life.

Here is a great example

Aricept is a drug used to treat Alzheimer's dementia. Developed by Pfizer. When it came out dose was 5 mg a day for 30 days then increase to 10 mg a day

So fast forward and the patent is about to expire which means anybody can make a generic of Aricept. Pfizer can no longer rip off those who need Aricept cuz they will buy generic donepizil rather than brand name.

Next step they develop Aricept 21 mg which is dosed once a day.

They claim their studies show 21 mg is more effective than 10.

Last year the pharma rep came into office with a nice expensive lunch and is pushing Aricept 21 mg.

My question is why not just give patient 10 mg twice a day?

Reply; we don't know if 10 mg twice a day works the study was done with 21 mg.

Begs the question: why 21 ? Why not develop 20 mg. Simple: nobody would buy brand name Aricept 20 mg but rather would save about $300 a month and take 2 10 mg tabs.

Pharma is smart, very smart.

They do a lot of good but they are greedy as fuck.
