Hi dylan,

I just saw and appreciated a Youtube video clip by yourself about the side effects of Finasteride on male health. Thank you for your good work in making people aware of the dangers of taking it

You seem to have come across many guys who have been affected by taking this drug, and I would be particularly interested to hear the effects on guys of taking it for two weeks or so. A few days ago I stopped taking the drug after two weeks. It had been prescribed for restrictive urination caused by a benign enlarged prostate. The restrictive urination got worse, not better, I developed alarming cognitive impairment, and acquired a urine infection, currently being treated by antibiotics. The drug had some effect on erection and semen production,,but as yet nothing drastic. On the drug information sheet which came with the drug, the side effects were scandalously understated. There was e.g. no mention of brain fog, sleep disturbance or personality issues, which have repeatedly manifest in some takers of the drug. I have no intention of taking the drug.

i have no clue on people that have only taking it two weeks... i have never run across that but what i have seen with prolonged use is everything i discussed in the video... the problems vary from person to person but libido issues seems to correlate with everyone as does brain fog... its very very scary and very real what it can cause and you cannot believe people that tell me i am overreacting etc... i have seen the problems in others first hand far far far too many times to not let it be known... its a major problem that needs to be made aware to everyone...

The doctor prescribed this medication because of the seriousness of your condition. I doubt 2 weeks will have permanent ramifications. You are being seriously over paranoid. Your body will recover it just takes a while for DHT levels to return to normal.
