Been sharpening my blades for a while, but starting to think it might not be worth the effort. Some people say you can get several seasons out of a blade if you keep up with sharpening, while others recommend just replacing them once a year. Not sure what makes more sense. The blades still cut, but the edges are getting pretty worn. At what point do you decide to stop sharpening and just buy new ones. I'd rather not waste money on replacements if sharpening is still effective. Curious how others make that call. A set of replacement mower blades might be the simpler option, but I'm still on the fence about whether it's necessary yet. If you've faced a similar situation, how did you decide when to stop sharpening and start fresh.
