Setting Up a Work Corner on a Panoramic Balcony

I decided to set up a home office on my glassed-in balcony, but because of the transparent windows, passersby on the street and neighbors in the building across the way can constantly see my desk and monitor. This is very distracting and makes it feel like I’m sitting outside. I don’t want to hang heavy curtains because they get dusty quickly and make it hard to open the windows for ventilation. Would a frosted film help make the balcony private without blocking the light? Can you tell me if it’s hard to apply it myself if I’ve never done this before?

A workspace on the balcony without any privacy is really like being in a fishbowl—I’ve been there myself. I installed the film myself using material from https://www.tintfit.com/shop/frosted , and I can say their service is great. Along with the order, they sent clear step-by-step instructions, and the consultant on the phone shared all the tips—how to properly clean the glass before applying the film and how to remove water with a squeegee. I chose the Satin Frost film: the balcony is full of light, and you can’t see anything from the street at all. I did it all in one evening with no prior experience. By the way, are the windows on your balcony standard or wide-profile plastic ones?
