How can I safely switch password managers without losing access?

I recently switched by exporting my passwords as a CSV file, then importing them into the new manager. I kept both apps installed for two weeks, just in case. It gave me peace of mind while I tested everything and made sure nothing was missing.

I found it helpful to update my recovery information first and test a few logins before fully committing. During the process, I bookmarked a lastpass phone number page just in case I needed to reference something later. Keeping both apps active for a short period gave me extra confidence that nothing would be lost or overlooked.
