Hey guys. I am interested in hearing about how all of you cut down your body fat to levels lower than 12%. Do you use keto diets? Loads of cardio? I understand that weight loss is about calories in vs calories out, and honestly, I am not trying to get really cut right now. I live in New England and it gets cold in the winter, so this is the time of year that I am ok with a little (key word, LITTLE) bit of extra weight gain from fat. I do plan on getting really lean next Spring and Summer, since in my adult life I have never really been lower than 12-13%, and I walk around closer to 15%. I would love to hit the 9-10% range next summer. Not competing, just as a new challenge. Is there a suggested way to maintain a really high level of strength while dropping pounds of fat?
I know that by cutting out my refined sugar from things like coffee and certain snacks that I like will help. I also would like to get lean without keto, but I am willing to give it a try if I'm not getting lean. My body works really well with a moderate to high carb diet. Just interested in the lean guys telling me how they do it and maintain it.
Thanks so much
