Is it necessary to fast 12 hours before female blood panel?

fasting is only necessary when drawing blood (before 8am is best) to check your natural test level....ie pre and post cycle
BUT..it is highly recommended you do the same for all hormone draws...keep things consistent...draw at the same time and fasting every time..it makes it easier to compare apples and apples
