    Too much protein will not allow you to stay in ketosis, it's called gluconeogenisis, not that higher protein with ultra low carb does not work for weight loss it's just not allowing your body to use ketones effectively as its converting protein to glucose for energy

    AFAIK this comment is incorrect, protein can also break ketosis via Gluconeogenesis - how much protein an individual can consume varies from person to person but I am aware of people than can only consume in the region of 0.4 to 0.5 g of protein per lb of body weight before they have been kicked...

    Personally do not trust biometric scales, my scales always have me between 18 and 21% yet a bod pod had me ~8% which again I think was too low I would have said I was around 12% - pic below

    The best method is a dexa scan followed by hydrostatic weighing or a bodpod but in saying that last year I was 170 and bodpod had me ~8% but I would have said I was nearer 12% maybe more (see pic below) so that is not completely accurate either You could always buy a set of body fat calipers...

    How do you know for sure that you are not losing fat? Are you having your body fat levels measured by a professional with quality body fat calipers?
