    Yeppers, that's basically like ski boots attached to a standard olympic bar and there is a special locking device like on ski boots and skis. The bar is weighted down with plates on the ends to keep it from jumping out of the catches.

    My gym has a device that lets you hang upside down from a bar on a squat rack. Pretty cool so may try it.

    I have been taking a week off every 4 months and mainly doing just cardio and stretching. Then when I return to normal training I feel recharged.
