I use it all the time. It has a really high smoke point, and a very neutral flavor. I cook with it, and then top foods after they come out of the oven (or, out of a pan) with some extra virgin olive oil (or, some other healthy fat) for flavor.

If I recall correctly, there may be a link between hypogonadism and anosmia in some medical literature. However, I know I don't recall seeing anything specific as a result of AAS use / abuse. While you may be able to research these conditions online, your best bet would be to visit a physician...
