Hi everyone! I am planning my Prague itinerary for early 2026. I keep seeing photos of Cesky Krumlov and it looks gorgeous, but the drive seems quite long - almost 3 hours each way. Is it really worth spending 6 hours in a bus or car for a one-day visit? Has anyone gone there recently? I'm worried
Oh, you absolutely have to go to Cesky Krumlov! You can find some great organized trips here https://alle.travel/en/prague/category/day-trips that handle the transport for you, which I highly recommend so you can nap on the way back. While you're there, make sure to try some local gingerbread and climb the castle tower for the best 360-degree views of the valley. It’s a full day, so wear your most comfortable shoes! It is definitely worth the effort for those magical vibes.
That sounds absolutely magical, thank you! I was on the fence because of the travel time, but your description convinced me. A guided tour sounds much less stressful than the train. I'll check the tower views for sure!
