Everyone needs to read this.

"Suffer what there is to suffer, enjoy what there is to enjoy. Consider suffering and joy as facts of life."

I turn to my spiritual path in the hard times. The insights always help change obstacles into opportunities for growth.

Let's fight and win....

I know some of you are struggling and having a hard time, whether it's financially, emotionally, etc.. This time of year gets super hectic for alot of us. Training gets put to the side, you skip meals, you are stressed out to the max, and you lose interest in everything. Trust me, it'll be okay!!!!!!!!!! Stop what you are doing, take 10 deep breaths and focus! If you can't make it to the gym just get a quick workout at home that day. 100 pushups, 100 crunches, 100 lunges, WHATEVER!!!!! You're not gonna lose any gains if you miss a day here or there. There is more to life and there's more than stressing. Enjoy these times and embrace them. It'll be okay soon enough. Don't bring down your family and friends because of your stress over the littlest stuff. I know alot of us worry about our daily workouts and gain gain gain gain. But let's be realistic, we aren't getting paid to workout. Keep it a hobby. Don't ruin it and start despising and hating it because you cram it in to your day and it ruins your workout. Just take it easy, ride it out and do what you can. I hope every single member sees this and understands it's not a forever feeling. If anyone needs to chat about whatever, I'm just an inbox away!
Happy Holidays to all of my A.R. Family!!!!

Amen to all of that brother. I couldn't agree more. I try and do my best to follow this philosophy as close as I can myself. I don't let my lifestyle get in the way of life. I know it's easy to get self absorbed and wrapped up in everything with diet, going to the gym, etc....but it's always important to keep your priorities straight with family and friends or whatever. Don't sweat the small stuff and don't stress over little shit like missing a workout, a meal, or because your not making the gains lately that you want to be. Life's too short. Enjoy it!

I mean, when you really think about it.. if you're stressed and then you worry about getting to the gym and it stresses you even MORE it becomes detrimental to your gains since cortisol is probably out of the roof and you will most likely have a shitty workout and get even MORE mad. Take a day off... relax, watch some porn or smash the ol lady and get back at it tomorrow.
