Hey Dylan,

I really appreciate your videos and thought u'd be the right person to ask some questions. I am on a 500mg/ week sustanon cycle and 0.5mg arimidex EOD. Its been 6 weeks and ive only gained 5 pounds and I don't really feel any strength or don't have that roided look, vascularity etc. This is my first cycle btw. What do you think? Probably underdosed? or just needs more time? Any input would be appreciated.

5 pounds in 6 weeks is not horrible or alarming... its not anything large but its still making progress.. have you had bloodwork done? how is your diet and training? how is your source?
 
I didnt get any blood work done, gear is alpha pharma and meditech (ran out of alpha and now on meditech). Eating 2800 cals (200 protein rest is carbs and fat) training really hard 6 times a week. Might be just really underdosed so I upped to 750 mg at the 5 week mark
 
Not enough calories man. Alpha makes good gear. But its the diet that will help you more

What are your stats bro 2800 may be enough but give us height weight training history thete are alot of things we need to know to help

178cm, 77kg before cycle- not 79kg. Been training 6 years completely natural for 6 years and diet is in check. 2800 cals 6 days a week and around 6000 cals on cheat day.I dont think I need more calories as im not looking for the bloated look, thats why Im using adex to control the bloat. So far don't see much difference just gained 2kg and didnt get any side effects.
 
What was your diet before cycle? In other words, how much have you increased your intake?

When it comes down to it, you seem to have good gear, Im guessing you would say your training is on point, so that leaves your diet. You have made yourself a Catch 22 if you say you want to gain weight but dont want more calories. Doesnt make a lot of sense to me. Again, knowing where you were before would help. If you need to increase food intake you can do it without getting bloated. If you are basically eating maintenance calories they you probably shouldnt expect much.
 
Do you know what your adjusted bmr is? Thats really low calories and a horrible cal cheat day. What is your age height and weight. Inlbs and inches plz

I tend to agree with everyone here, diet is key,, I used sustanon at 250mg every 5 days for 3 years, my avatar is an actual pic of the results, people always fall into the " more is better " mentality and that is not necessarily always true, 750mg is a lot for your first cycle,, hard work and diet, my calories are always 3500 and up,I am currently 5'9" 210lbs,, if you are worried about getting fat then start doing cardio, or MORE cardio, but eat more clean food

I'm not sure abt my bmr I just go by trial and error since I've been training around 7 years. I was eating 2800 cals before gear also but I don't think u need to up ur cals on gear. I see people eating at deficit and still gaining on gear. I'm around 12 percent body fat so I've built a good base as a natural ectomorph with below avg genes. Anyway I'm gna up to 3000 cals and see how it goes,

Thanks for the input guys, appreciate it. My weight and height are 175lbs and 5 foot 10. I don't thibk 2800 cals is insufficient because I'm also having 6000 cals on Fridays. I don't know my bmr, I just go with trial and error sincr I've been training around 7 years. I was also eating 2800 cals before gear which is slightly higher than maintenance cals and I don't think I need way more on gear. I see people blow up on a caloric deficit. I'm around 12 percent body fat so I've build a good base as a natural ectomorph with below avg genes. Anywy gna up to 3000 cals and train hard 6 days a week and see how it goes. Just hit the 43 day mark with only 5lb Gains btw. Supplements used are whey, creatine, preworkout and fish oil with 4 litres water a day
 
Btw I don't know how ppl think 280" cals is low. I remember frank Zane said he dsnt go over 3000 cals and the guy is obviously a monster compared to me. I don't think u need crazy amount of cals if u wna stay lean . Everyone these days just put on fat and think it's muscle lol
 
Ok your bmr or basal metabolic rate which is if u sat on a couch with a broken leg is 1790 cals a day. That multiplied by your activity multiplier of 1.5 if you go to gym atleast 4 times a week is 2685. Thats to remain static not gain or lose. And ur eating 2500 wonderi g why ur not gaining but 5#. So to gain u need to add 500 cals to that. Thats 3185 cals a day to add weight and muscle growth. Thats your problem u r starving your body fo the food it needs.

Im sure u have a cert but i bet they didnt teach u shit about nutritional needs or nutrition timing. This is just basic calculations i did. I dodnt even get i to macros tailored to body type such as mesomorph ectomorph or endomorph.

I've done all these calculations before bro I know all this shit and I see where you're going , thanks for your input. I've tried eating like 3500 cals before and I gained some fat and abs got blurry. Btw Im eating 2800 cals not 2500. Thanks again buddy
