Hi everyone, at 52 I have decided to try steroids to gain the physique Ive always wanted, I have trained in the past with much diligence and 110 % effort without significant results,I'm ex British military so have always been pretty fit,but I have a very high metabolism and burn off what I eat very quickly, my stats are,hight 6ft weight 170 pounds,body fat 20% muscle 40% BMR(KCAL)-1783 AMR(KCAL)-2051.

I intend to train 4 days a week and have decided on a DBOL cycle of 4 week (test cycle) with PCT -Clomid -Aromasin.
I also have my diet already in place
Dylan's videos have been a great source of valuable information and I'm so glad I found him on the Internet.
any advice with regards to my training and cycle will be much appreciated in anticipation of your response many thanks.
 
Hey bro. Welcome to the forum.
A dbol only cycle would jo be a good cycle...all your gona get from that is water retention and estrogen spikes and high blood pressure. You really need a test base. You could run a sarms stack instead with tbol as your oral and you will have more sustainable gains in the end.

I personally wouldn't recommend DBol either... Just so many better options out there.
 
First off i would advise you to not run any AAS cycles before you get your BF% below 15 or so, and make sure your diet is tuned in. Then for a first cycle i would only run either testosterone enanthate or testosterone cypionate (i prefere test c) and only incorporate dbol if your goal is to add very extreme amounts of size, mass and strength as fast as possible (diet dependent of course). Problem is that dbol makes u gain so much size and strength so fast that people tend to not be able to consume enough calories (along with other variables) to keep up or maintain that extreme addition of size and strength, making it difficult to keep those gains, but achievable none the less. I would advise a simple test c cycle only (ALWAYS run testosterone with any cycle as your base) to see how that works for you, then the next time around incorporate an oral if you choose to and if it applies to your personal goals. Always run and aromatise inhibitor (i prefer aromasin) especially if your using a high estrogen converting compound (such as dbol). And to be frank there are other options all together, have you ever considered running a SARMS cycle first ? You do have alot of options here, i hope this helps. And welcome to the AR forums..
 
Welcome bro. I agree with what the guys up top. Focus on dropping weight with a great diet. In the meantime. Learn all you can.

welcome to adrenaline rush brother... its great to have you here and i think its HIGHLY commendable you want to get things going and brother, its never too lae... let's just say, you got a late start but that's okay... you can accomplish A LOT, even at 52... you are still young and have a lot more you can do...

the important thing here is to do this right and safe... you cannot make up for lost time... your body fat is far too high to run steroids yet and dbol is about the worst option for someone working on body fat or with it elevated as it is... trust me, you will only be further setting yourself back and only hindering yourself...

my best recommendation is to start with a sarms stack... get your body fat down to where it needs to be, no stress that steroids will put on you and a good introduction to foreign substance to your body... its a marathon, not a sprint... with sarms you will gain lean muscle, melt fat, increase endurance, lower cholesterol, increase vascularity, enhanced recovery, REAL healing and an overall excellent feeling and full of energy...

Dylan is absolutely correct with this. You really need to reconsider your options,mas any steroid is not the right route to take at this time. I would strongly suggest a sarms stack to get you started that will be best for your current level. The triple stack would suit you very well.
