SHBG too high

Hi Dylan,

I have been watching your youtube channel for a while now and realy impresed with your knowledge. Thanks for all the videos.

I wonder if you know how to reduce Shbg?
I am 39years old male
173cm
83kg
Body fat must be arround 20% now
Lifting 2-3times a week

Had low T symptoms , so done a blood test
Total Test 35 nmol/L (uk standart 8-29nmol/L)
But Shbg 91 nmol/L (uk standart 18-54nmol/L)
So i think me free Test is probaly 0

Started “self” prescribed TRT (250 susteron twice per week)
and proviron (it suppose to reduce shbg) 25mg twice per day . Two month on it now. Feeling a little better, but i think that Test just getting binded to Shbg.
I am waiting for Endo appointment for two month now. That how long it takes to get an appointment in UK.

Is there anything to reduce Shbg?

I am otherwise healthy man in full time employment, non smoker, social drink once a month .

You know that 250mg twice per week is not TRT right? That's a cycle. TRT is generally 200mg per week or less.

You can bring down SHBG with Aromasin which you should already be running with that much test. Your estrogen is probably extremely high as well

exactly and honestly, 200 is really too high... that would put you at an average of around 1400 for test levels which is clearly too high to stay walking around at...

You are not hypo-gonadal...TRT is the treatment protocol for hypogonadism....which in your case would be total test of under 8nmol/L

250mg twice per week...???? the professional standard starting dose for TRT is 100mg/wk

HAVE SOME FUCKING PATIENCE....wait for your endo to properly test diagnose and treat..if needed

When you do finally see the specialist he will take a blood sample then find your test is way out because of the sustanon, what are you going to do then? He'll be able to tell you're running gear and could well refuse to have anything to do with you.

How long have you been on the Sustanon regime?
