Hi Dylan, you seem like a guy who cares. God bless you for this. I am a soon to be 60 year old guy who just wants to have energy mainly to work longer hours. Not a body builder. My buddy (ex pro football player) told me that if I start testosterone I will have more energy and feel better all around. He recommended that I start with .5 ml twice per week. Does this sound reasonable? I started with .5 ml on Wednesday and will inject another .5 tomorrow. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

NO!.....the only proper way is to see a good endocrinologist..have a work up...get a diagnosis and treatment plan...be monitored by the Dr

TRT isn't just about injecting some testosterone...it involves your whole endocrine system and needs to be balanced and monitored by a competent specialist...NOT BY YOURSELF

When you start on TRT it can effect your estradiol, PSA, BP, cortisol, thyroid, DHT, SHBG, prolactin and adrenals ...it can be a tricky tight rope to achieve a good balance....this is not something to take lightly...
It is not something you can do by yourself
You need to be closely monitored for at least the first year....then after that you can monitor your own blood work and see the endo once a year for follow ups

Bump this 100%

Remember the Seinfeld episode where George goes the holistic healer even tho Jerry tells him to go to the DOCTOR.

And George ends up in the hospital?

Imagine that x10. Self medication without knowing what you're doing will have you in a world of hurt.

no, that is pure stupidity that you have been told and your friend is going to end up hurting you... DO NOT discuss things like this with anymore man... if you truly care about your health then you will not talk to him again about this...

you need to go and get bloodwork done by your doctor and see if that is even necessary... you have no idea if it will be the right thing for you without confirmation on paper bro
