So usually I?ve done the dosing with a pen that had the markings on the pen itself.

Now, I?m using a insulin syringe, extracting from a vial which is labeled 10-100 units. If I?m looking to do 5IU daily, what should my dosage be on that syringe?

Depends on how much solution you put in the vial and how many ius are in a vial. It's basic math.

Yes. One vial is holding 72IU. When I want to inject, I extract using an insulin syringe from the vial.

Regardless, I still need to know how to calculate units-IU so I can use proper dosing.

You should have been told how many iu are in the vial when you bought it. The volume is something you control. If the vials are 10iu each, and you inject 1mL of bacteriostatic water, then 0.5mL is 5iu.

I actually got it from your website. It?s the 72IU humantrope. I injected all of it into the vial it came with. So it has to be 72IU.

I?m pretty sure it?s 3.15 ML

Ok 3.15 ML/72 IUs = .04375ML per IU

5IUs = 5 * .04375 = .21875 ML

If you are using a 1ML insulin string with markings from 0-100 then you would want roughly the 20 mark or 1/5 of the string filled.

The syringe is labeled 10-100 units. So if I?m looking for a 2.5IU shot what would I draw up?

I usually do 2.25 IU in the morning and 2.25 IU at night. So I just drew up 10 units, hopefully this what right.

Right its labeled with 10-100 Units but what sized syringe is it? If its 1ML then the 20 unit (1/5 of the syringe tube filled) is 5 IUs. The 10 unit would be half that so 2.5IUs so yes correct only if you are using a 1ML syringe though.
