Just got back some blood tests after 10 weeks on 10-12.5 mg of MK-677 a day.
Had a very low IGF-1 pre-cycle at 101, after 10 weeks it is 206. So MK-677 doubled my IGF-1 in 10 weeks.
The low starting IGF-1 is partially due to my pre-cycle intermittent fasting with keto. Still on strict keto (less than 40 g carbs a day) but upped my protein which seemed to work.
I am 50 years old so maybe lower doses of MK are more effective as you age.
Cortisol AM levels were fine at 12.5, which sometimes is a concern for MK. Average blood sugar increased slightly from 83 to 87 while on MK.
As far as the higher blood pressure, could be due to water retention. Gained about 7 lbs and the higher dosage seems to be directly correlated with the degree of water retention.
