I used to prefer to bulk, now I like both in their own rites. I think my bulks will tend to become more sculpting in the future, but I'm always have a tickle for strength gains too.

I would think most people would prefer to bulk than cut.Cutting is the ultimate test of discipline & it's the hardest for me.
Of course I prefer to bulk because I am always trying to get bigger.
Rick Rock had the best answer here IMHO.A consistent recomp is the way to go.Which is what I'll do when I get into single digit BF%.
Bulk definitely. But bulking doesn't always have to be 20lbs and all that jazz. You can do a lean bulk and stay shredded. Or even recomp year round
