Thanks for sharing the benefits of black pepper. Unfortunately, the only thing that drives weight loss is a calorie deficit or negative energy balance. Im not saying black pepper won't aid in certain ways, however a proper calorie deficit is the most important factor.

While i am sure you know this, surprisingly a lot of people do not. They see material or articles on various things like green tea, super foods ect. that supposedly promote fat loss. These people incorporate these "fat loss" foods into their diet yet never really lose weight because they fail to understand the most important requirement....a calorie deficit.

Right. I️t may speed energy requirements but you still have to go through al your glycogen and glucose before you can dip into fat. I like black pepper with supplements myself. I️t inhibits the liver so that your body won’t excrete substances as fast.

I couldn't agree more. You can't ever forget about the basic fundamentals of fat loss, which is a caloric defecit
