1.5 inch needle for glute injection?

Hi guys I'm around 12 to 15 percent body fat and today i had my first glute injection it was completely painless. Is it possible that the 1.5 inch needle hasn't reached the muscle? Is it normal to have no pain while injecting?
There was a little blood though after i got it out. Is that a sign that I've gone in the muscle?

A 1.5 is plenty long and you hit the muscle for sure. A proper injection should be painless (especially glutes). I pretty much always have zero pain injecting in glutes

Yup, 1.5 is enough. I use 1" in glute

Same here. If you are lean, 1" is plenty for glutes

im fucking as lean as can be there and i still use a 1.5 in my glutes... thats perfect
