When did PCT start?

We all know all the old timers didnt do a "pct". They just came off their cycles and recovered overtime. When did pct start? Who started it? What was the first pct protocol? I always was curious about this.

i couldn't tell you... all i care about is that i have derived a protocol that covers all the ground necessary... im not trying to be a dick because its a fair question, but its not something i really care about brother...
