Finally did bloods

So I did a blood test while on vacation in California and just got my results back at 293 total test. I'm 30 and I'm thinking this is kinda low. Wondering what my next course of action should be. I have some gear on hand from when I purchased for the Wifey's last comp.

The test level might explain the rash of injuries I been having over the last few year.

Any advice is appreciated thanks.
Real question is do I need TRT?

what's the context to this? I'm assuming you've ran a cycle fairly recently, what did you run and what was your PCT? Also any pre cycle blood work?

this is what I got

OK bro, just assumed it may have been the case. Your question is really 'do I need TRT' I think?

If so there are plenty of guys here with the experience to chime in on the subject.

I guess that's what I'm asking. I'll change the title

You would need to see an endocrinologist if your concerned about your test levels, they are on the lower end but in range.

One thing I have noticed with test levels it important to get the test done on the same time and day of the week as all the other test times .
I got my test checked at 1pm the last 3 times I had it checked always on a Monday after a cheat day . The one time I did it mid morning in between those test it was 490 all the other times 750-780 with no gear . So not a bad Idea to check it several different times before you come to the conclusion that’s your number is always in that range . Just a thought .

At age 30 I'd be concerned about that test level, as it may only go down. But you may have an underlying factor that is causing the low T that could be easily addressed to fix the issue. Low vit D, high prolactin, high iron are just a few examples.

293 is still within range, but for 30, certainly on the very low end. You can hit tongkat ali, youcanhit clomid at 50mg daily, or do both, give it 6-8 weeks, and test again.

Or see an endo, and see if there is anything underlying. A primary care doc isnt gonna do you much good.

My reading came 200 to a peak of 218. Had a primary care try to help first, was a waste of time. Put me on cream, peaked at 348 and four hours later back to 200. I went with specialist clinic that has me doing test prop 17 mg ED, HGC 400 units twice a week and .15 mg of anastrozole. Doing much better. Until recently your number would have been low at Lab Corp, they just dropped both their low and high range numbers. My opinion is (which means Jack) is you are too low for 30 years old. And unless you are a fat @#*$ there is not a whole lot that will get your numbers to what they need to be, which is around 700 at least IMO. Even if you are a fat and lose the weight, you might raise by 100-200. Still too low.

So I'm 5'8" about 190-195 and I have been avid lifter for a while except for the last year or so and I have been getting injuried frequently and lost motivation. These numbers explain everything now. Currently still in the military so I may try to do everything the prescribed route

You realize that hcg should not be taken long term, right? Also confused why you'd want to pin every day.

Thanks for taking an interest in me, I do not want to derail injuries thread, but guess I am going to anyways. Have not really done an introduction post, because I am not looking into using steroids in the way that others might on this forum, I am more interested in losing some stubborn pounds and was thinking SARMS might just make that a little easier. But while most users on this forum have different ideas on proper uses of steroids, as a community the knowledge is fascinating, probably better then most physicians (Who am I kidding, I signed up to see 44's pictures.)

To briefly answer your questions, I am under a licensed medical doctors care that specializes in male hormones and balance. As far as pinning, I hate it, and am hoping to go to a little longer schedule. The reason why I was placed on everyday was because my SHGB was extremely low. The provider I see states that people tend not to get the benefits With Low T, Low SHGB and low Estrogen by using the long esters, but do much better with the short esters that mimic the natural T cycle of higher in morning etc. That is why I am one daily dosages. As far as the HCG, I have not seen anything that says that HCG can not be taken long term. They state that there might be side effects, but that is true for any medicines really. And most of the sides have to do with estrogen levels which is why I take a lose dose of Anastrozole and I get my blood work done regularly. Should be due in the next few weeks actually. I hope this clears up any confusion, and if there is something I have wrong I would be eager to learn and discuss with my provider next visit.

ask Dylan about all the info about using HCG long term. HCG is only for short term usage. Honestly, I asked the department head endo here, and he'd never heard of using short esters daily in use by any practicing physician.

Update I went to see a doc that my bodybuilder friend referred me to and the doc was like wow your really low for 30. Ended with a script for 200mg/wk to start.

Anyone know if insurance covers testosterone? I went to the local pharmacy and they said they needed to fax in the script and paper work to see if the insurance company covers testosterone and they only have 1ml amps. My doc wrote the script for 10ml vials

Im just curious....if you have visited a actual endocrinologist....becouse the first and formost action is not to just treat low test...But to find out why its low....lot of factors and your supposed to check before 8am....have you checked for pituitary adinomas that can act as the pituitary itself creating too much or not enough of certain hormones.... im not trying to rain on your parade bro. Trust me...but do you actually have symptoms are you abel to have children etc...Dylan posted a great video here earlier on andropause ..if you have not seen watch it....just so you know what your getting into at only 30 yrs old....anybody can go to a "friends Doctor" and get what they want....like i said not trying to be negative nelly ..But im speaking from personal experience just so you know.....

No I didn't , I just went to the doc. I get that are other issues that could be causing low t. Basically the doctor said he'll start me on 200mg/wk and when I come back in 3 month he has this whole list of blood test he was gonna run at the 3 month mark. Well blood test at 2 months in because the blood has to be sent to the continental us to get the test done because no labs do it where I'm at.

Just know that if you start on this road you may not be abel to turn back bro...as you said you hate pinning...well if go this route you may have to the rest of your life...any reputable doctor would refer you to an endo...thats their specialty..im just saying make sure your doing it for the right reasons....quality of life if you really need it....if you just wanna do it to "get jacked" or cruis.lol i wouldnt!!! Id just cycle and pct ....not saying thats what you intentions are....
